Jio Fiber is a high-speed FHHP (Fiber to the home) Internet broadband service. The service was announced by Ambani in 42nd annual general meeting.

Jio Fiber is famous for its 1Gbps High speed. In 2018, the company has launched it as “Jio GigaFiber” and from 2019 onward it is known as Jio Fiber.

The Jio Fiber is available in selected Metro cities. Currently, The service is not for each corner of the country. The company has a preview offer which has no cost. But for the connection, the user needs to deposit refundable money according to its plan. 

Currently, the company has only launched a prepaid plan service. Prepaid plans means, “First you have to pay then you can enjoy the services”.

Reliance Jio high-speed internet service has provided its six different annual plans with a welcome offer (discussed below). The Plan has a range of Rs. 8,388 up to Rs. 1.2 lakh (without GST because GST additional on applicable plans).

Currently, Jio cheapest BRONZE plans offering is priced at 8,388 ( without GST) for annual sessions. This plan offers 100 Mbps download speed, 100GB + 100GB (Lockdown double data offer) + 50GB free = 250GB data for a month with Free OTT Subscription of JioSaavn and JioCinema. 

The user will also get free voice calls and other home networking benefits.

Jio Giga Fiber higher plan has a cost of Rs. 1,02,000 per year (without GST). It gives the high speed of 1Gbps. It gives high-speed data up to 15,000GB per month (Plan benefit-5,000, Double;e data benefit- 5,000GB, Annual Plan Benefit-5,000GB optional).

Why does the company collect a Security Deposit?

The company collects Rs. 2,500 For security deposit (Rs.1,500 For security which is Refundable and Rs.1,000 for installation - non refundable).

The purpose of collecting security deposit is upon the discontinuity of the service. The company will refund the amount if their electronics are returned in working condition. The refund can take Maximum 60-days to reflect in your accounts.  

Is Jio Fiber is Prepaid or Postpaid?

Currently, all Jio Fiber Plans are Pre-Paid. But the company also planned To provide offers in Postpaid in the upcoming time.

Can I get additional data on Jio Fiber?

Yes, if your data plan is over, then the add-on data plan can be activated on My Jio app.
